Brian Holtz Music

I am a composer and sound designer based in Chicago. I vent my madness creating soundscapes of menace, terror, otherworldly bliss and pristine meadows with an underlying tension. Visuals depicted as sound inform every project I take on creating a unique sonic identity.

I began writing, playing and recording music and sound at an early age and have toured the US and Europe. I currently create custom music and sound design for independent films and license original music for commercial music libraries. As of this writing I have released 7 full length albums heavily geared toward visual media and atmospheric sound for film and media. As one half of the UnderGround Villains, I have written, recorded and released 3 records featuring a mix of vocal and instrumental rock and experimental jazz.
