Hello. I want to use the free music as a background in a meditation course. There will be 10 guided lessons. In each class I will use a different song and just like on YouTube I will have a space to put copyrights and references. Can I use the free songs and sell my course with them in the background? How long can I use them for this course?

Please keep in mind, that staff will not answer questions regarding free usage of the music.

Good morning. I read the entire faq and couldn't find the answer to that question so I came here to ask for your help. In relation to this matter, the faq is not so clear. I can use it for youtube and put the credits. But if I put it on another platform where I sell the guided meditation and that I also put the credits on, I no longer know if I can use the songs for free.
If you don’t help your customers, they’ll leave.
Thank you!

I always find it fascinating that people like to earn money with free music and also like to have free support. And on top of that, they also wish that people read them the corresponding questions in the FAQ.

You don't even have to be a lawyer to understand that:

creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
filmmusic.io/faq/20
filmmusic.io/faq/29

But of course you really should have looked at the FAQ and the licenses instead of pleading for free support and then pointing out that "customers" would otherwise leave.

Yes, I would like to be honest at this point: This really pisses me off.

I have to agree that asking to use the free music but then be arrogant about the reply should not be worth a reply. I think its clear what you said and the rest should be figured out.

"If you don’t help your customers, they’ll leave."

That made me pissed of ;)

Yes, my answer was not nice, but honest.
Since Filmmusic.io as an independent "leisure project" is not dependent on sales, you can be honest sometimes. We are not Microsoft :)
