Here you go: filmmusic.io/voiceover-generator/

Actually we only support english, but i think there will be more languages in future :) We are also working on other features to give you more possibilities to enhance the result.
Let me know, if this is something useful for you!

Hey Sascha,

the voiceover generator (James, conversational style) is way beyond any text-to-speech feature I have encountered (including Google´s and IBM´s).
Seriously "Konkurenzlos".

Are you using an existing model or did you create it from the ground up? Including the training data?
Im really curios how you came up with this. Its extremly impressive :D

Also, are you planing to add ssml support?

Nothing special, Amazon Polly. Also the expensive paid services are using this. Took me approx 2 hours to build this generator.

As a trainer, Management Presentation Skills Developer and Presentations of Educational Programs I have looked for many programs that can turn text to Speech where the voice did not sound robotic. Only 1 paid program could do that. However some of your generated voices, example James did even better than that. This as tool for voice-overs will be very useful. If pauses can be added it will excel the application value tremendously. 2 Hours to built ? If you need another voice or two to ad for variety then don't hesitate to ask. Appreciate all the effort.

I will add those features (yes, this is all possible) in the next Filmmusic version.

I use the API of Amazon Polly: aws.amazon.com/polly/

But since I still have a main job, I always have to see when I find the time to continue programming on this website. I only have a little free time after work.

Currently I can still offer the Voice Generator for free, because Filmmusic has startup credit at Amazon for 2 years.
I'm not sure yet if it will remain free after that and if I can refinance the costs through advertising.

Will you be able to sell this generator as a stand alone offline generator when you finalized it? Not trying to charm you when I say I have been really impressed with this generator in comparison to others. You could most probably also opt to sell the generated mp3 files to be downloaded. I would like to do some experiments with it yet have no doubt that supplying a link , people would want to buy this from you. I am currently busy with a project involving voicing extracts from research papers so if I can use this beta version I will get a very good indication of how others perceive it. If you want / don't want ,....I can set a link back to this site in general or to the voice generator. If this is too early then I'll simply inform you of my experience with this. Still I am impressed with this as it is now but / and would like to contribute to its development if I can.

No there will never be an offline generator, because this always needs the amazon cloud and polly API. I am also a web developer and specialized in web services, I do not program software for computers.

I will continue development with the new Filmmusic version (beta website) middle of november.

You can always support my work here: filmmusic.io/donate
The donations help to cover the costs of the website (server, CDN, tax consultant, tax office...). I myself do not get a salary - and with the little income no salary would be affordable.
