* I am making this thread because I couldn't get a response from the support email. Receiving a community response on a question meant for the company didn't really make sense to me but I saw that they are making official responses so here I am..

Firstly, I do understand that the topic "Clarification on "sensitive subjects"" exists and has an official response. But this doesn't seem like a typical forum where I can just reply and the official response on that thread is to use common sense but in this day and age where everyone is offended by everything? That's confusing. Because what I'm requesting is a set of guidelines that filmmusic, the company that maintain these licenses, are offended by.

My lack of experience makes me believe that if music is included in something that is breaking the agreement, even unwittingly, that the whole thing will get taken down or go silent when the music is what sets the mood for a specific scene and who would want that to happen if they spent a lot of time making it and purchasing a Premium license in the first place? I even have a song in my cart that I like but a lack of information is the only thing that's stopping me from purchasing it right now.

The subject of the matter:
"You can only use the music for lawful purposes. Also, you can’t use the music in connection with defamatory, obscene or demeaning material, or in connection with sensitive subjects."

The confusing part of this rule is what is considered too obscene, demeaning or sensitive. Filmmusic provides songs with topics of War, Horror, Crime and Erotic, see what I'm getting at here when you think of those topics?

I imagine that defamatory is connected to real life smear campaigns or something involving real people..

1. Other platforms like Pixabay do not offer any personal support
2. As you can read here, there is no personal support for questions regarding standard license: filmmusic.io/contact and also here filmmusic.io/pricing
3. It makes absolutely sense that a platform that is FREE does not offer FREE suppport (do you want to pay for that???)

So you will only get an answer if a community member wants to answer your question.

Or buy a license and pay for this service.

Incidentally, this question can only be answered if there is a concrete application. Generally, if it is against the law, it is not allowed. It's as simple as that.
Sometimes common sense also helps.

Last but not least, you even got an answer from the support regarding "Read the FAQ".
If you do this, you will find this:

Well, it does say the contact email is for "presale" questions but I guess technically I didn't specify that I was going to buy anything in that email.
My bad.

Ahhh I did not realize that acceptable use is what contained that information I was wondering where you got that page.
Apologies and thank you.
