Nostalgic, emotional, inspiring and hopeful track featuring warm cinematic piano and orchestra.
Melancholic, nostalgic, sad and emotional track featuring warm cinematic piano.
Improvised melodic piano piece. It’s written to make you think. Since it’s improvised there almost no structure in the song, but it shouldn’t steal too much attention for whatever you’re using it for. It’s not advanced at all, as my piano skills aren’t that good, but the melody is definitely beautiful.
Sie sitzt am Fenster, schaut in den Regen, der schon seit Tagen beständig gegen die Scheibe trommelt, und trauert ihrer einen großen Liebe nach, die sie nie wiedersehen wird ...
Horizon Flare is a very mystically written piano piece. It was used as a outro to my space themed album “Beyond Earth”, where it definitely belongs. I’m not sure whether Horizon Flare is sad, happy or hopeful. You can figure that out. People have used this piece in slow scenes with no mono- or dialogues. I would not put words over this.
Improvised piano piece that should make you think. You can do so much with just a piano. It’s a fantastic instrument. I think this counts as a sad piano piece.
Improvised depressive piano piece with a hint of hope. No structure as the whole thing is recorded in one go, but it definitely matches content where the music should enhance a feeling without stealing the show completely.
A recurring voice melody cascades over piano chords that sway in the breeze. Strings and horns then play the melody as the piano is slightly more forceful before settling again. It is suggestive of sadness, but with a sense of closure and peace.
2 minute long emotional piano piece. The melodies are inspired by old Norwegian folk songs, and can be characterized as sad and mysterious, but still beautiful. Also with an underlying feeling of suspense.
Elegant and slightly dark, the simplicity of the piano melody is light and touching, with a feeling of pensive restraint. It is beautiful accompaniment to the close of a drama, or of a midday reverie. Composed by Erik Satie.
Easy flowing with highly differentiated right and left hand parts.
More contemplative than outright depressing. Tempo is highly variable, so don't count on it if you have to synch to something. I didn't know there was a tradition of writing for this instrumentation. It works very well.
