One thing we have figured out while exploring Mars is that it has some really cruel sandstorms. Sandstorms that can threaten all equipment sent there. The planet has global sandstorms that can cover it entirely in sand and dust. Try listening to this piece, while closing your eyes and imagine this.
See title, instrumentation, tempo, and feels for description. Originally written for a live performance.
Evocative of the Arab world, the music begins stoically; the melody accentuated by simple percussive sounds. Within the first minute, the strings hypnotize with their sinuous melody, the tribal drumming awakening the senses. In the third minute the piece changes to a heavy, dangerous string and tribal drumming that builds until all of the instruments come together in a fitful way, until the abrupt ending.
This piece begins immediately with horn blasts, strings, and a bone-jangling xylophone. After the brief intro the horns play a melody, then the horns drop away away except tribal drums and staccato string bursts. The music returns in a big way, suggestive of a tense battle, as the instruments compete against each other, until the rapid discordant end.
A very serious and straight dark orchestral piece. Tubular bells, bass trombone, and bass drum add a lot of low-end.
Even though my opinion is in fact worthless, this might be the best metal piece I've ever written. A huge diversity of bangin' riffs, in strange tempo signatures and "unnatural" transitions. If you haven’t tried putting metal music to your content, try it now! You might find that people love it (because they do, and they should)
Holy epic action. Just look at the instruments in this! The piece shall now speak for itself.
Just the final part of Tchaikovsky's piece with giant percussion and synths.
Just some pure melodic cinematic metal. This piece got a lot of cool riffs and harmonies that merges the heavy guitar and drums with the epicness of the orchestra. Second half is actually very relaxing, believe it or not.
Just a dark metal piece with some legit punch. Used in the right content, and you can achieve some great things. Slows down at about half in. Doesn't last too long, though.

Standard metal build-up. Starts of with the acoustic guitar, but everyone know that s@#t’s about to go down. And so it does. Transcends into something way more melodic, and it almost has a touch of cinematic as well. At about 1:30 the drums and guitars working well together to make this a really interesting part for the listener.
