Brass, strings, percussion, electronics, slow, lumbering tempo.
So I was driving across my continent one day and after endless flatland plains and farms, the terrain turned much more hardscrabble. Coming up over a hill to its summit and the view ... Vast, breathtaking, humbling; so happy to be a part of this Earth. Mesas far in the distance shrouded in thin desert murk. Rough, elemental terrain - the fading memory of a shallow sea that once lived here. The expanse of blue sky stopping time and stealing my breath.
Such a marvel, this universe. And we get to be a part of it!
