So I was once tasked with building a computer network for a school in Lake Tahoe Nevada, USA. Tahoe has a beautiful, alpine lake at around 6000 ft above sea-level. Before heading out to catch my flight home I got up at dawn and took a drive around the lake. I pulled over to take it in. Alone with thousands of mature pines, the serene lake, a keen chill in the air, just beginning to snow... The scent of the trees, the air aglow with sparkling flakes, the presence of nature was overwhelming. Just as the sun peaked through the clouds a rainbow formed over the lake. That actually happened.
A true peak experience.
