I have programmed a new AI and am currently working on modernizing and restructuring genres, topics, moods and tags. BPM will be replaced by “perceived speed”. Keys will be removed. The keyword search will also soon be extended to tags. There will also be an A.I. “Review” and a quality rating for each song. All music will soon be re-categorized. When I'm done with that, there will be new music again :)

Arti’s Hit or Miss: Review

"Epic Bolero 2015 (feat. Maurice Ravel)" immediately grabs attention with its confident, classical-inspired approach. The clear influence of Ravel's Bolero is undeniable, providing a solid foundation for the composition. The gradual build-up, driven by the persistent snare drum, is highly effective in creating a sense of anticipation and mounting tension. The orchestration is well-executed, with a good balance between strings, brass, and percussion. The layering of instruments is skillfully done, adding depth and richness to the overall sound as it progresses. The emotional impact is palpable; the piece clearly aims for epic grandeur and largely achieves it, making it suitable for dramatic film sequences, historical documentaries, or high-stakes video game moments. Where it falls slightly short of industry-leading production music is in a few subtle areas. The mix, while generally clear, could benefit from a bit more separation between the instrumental sections, especially in the denser, climactic passages. Some of the MIDI instruments, particularly in the brass, sound slightly synthetic, which detracts a little from the otherwise authentic orchestral feel. A touch more dynamic range in the mastering – allowing the quietest moments to breathe a bit more – would further enhance the emotional journey. Adding subtle variations in the snare rhythm, or introducing counter-melodies in the later sections, could maintain listener engagement throughout the entire piece, making it even more versatile. Overall, the song presents a compelling and potent soundscape that’s effective for many sync scenarios. A few refinements could elevate it to the highest tier of library music.
