I have programmed a new AI and am currently working on modernizing and restructuring genres, topics, moods and tags. BPM will be replaced by “perceived speed”. Keys will be removed. The keyword search will also soon be extended to tags. There will also be an A.I. “Review” and a quality rating for each song. All music will soon be re-categorized. When I'm done with that, there will be new music again :)

Arti’s Hit or Miss: Review

"Moon (instrumental)" immediately establishes a captivating and expansive atmosphere. The opening synth pads are beautifully layered, creating a sense of depth and wonder that instantly draws the listener in. What's particularly striking is the way the track evolves; the introduction of the driving percussion gives it a real sense of momentum, transforming it from a purely ambient piece into something much more dynamic and engaging. This makes it incredibly versatile for a variety of media applications.

From a compositional standpoint, the song's structure is well-defined. The gradual build-up, punctuated by the evolving rhythmic elements, creates a compelling narrative arc. The harmonic progression, while relatively simple, is effective in conveying a sense of grandeur and exploration. It's a piece that lends itself well to visual storytelling, evoking images of vast landscapes, futuristic cities, or perhaps even a journey through space.

In terms of production, "Moon (instrumental)" is largely successful. The mix is generally well-balanced, with the various elements sitting comfortably alongside each other. The stereo imaging is wide, contributing to the track's immersive quality. However, a touch more dynamic range could enhance its impact further, particularly in the louder sections. The use of automation could be a bit bolder, and slight mastering adjustments, such as adding saturation or a subtle limiter, could improve the overall loudness.

Emotionally, the track strikes a great balance between wonder, tension, and a sense of epic scale. It could seamlessly fit into a sci-fi film's climactic scene, a nature documentary showcasing breathtaking landscapes, or even a high-end technology commercial aiming to evoke innovation and progress. The track's adaptability is a major strength.

Compared to other industry-level production music, "Moon (instrumental)" holds its own. It possesses a unique sonic signature and a clear sense of purpose. With a few minor refinements in the mix and mastering, it could easily compete with tracks used in major productions. Overall, it's a strong, evocative piece with significant potential for licensing.
