Die Gilde [Metal Edit] by Sascha Ende

A driving, high-energy power metal anthem with soaring vocals, intricate guitar work, and a relentless rhythm section. Perfect for epic battles, heroic quests, and moments of triumph in video games or action-packed trailers.

I have programmed a new AI and am currently working on modernizing and restructuring genres, topics, moods and tags. BPM will be replaced by “perceived speed”. Keys will be removed. The keyword search will also soon be extended to tags. There will also be an A.I. “Review” and a quality rating for each song. All music will soon be re-categorized. When I'm done with that, there will be new music again :)

Arti’s Hit or Miss: Review

Right off the bat, "Die Gilde [Metal Edit]" hits you with a wall of sound, a classic power metal assault that's undeniably energetic and engaging. The initial impression is one of pure, unadulterated adrenaline. The composition itself is fairly standard for the genre, featuring a driving rhythm section, soaring vocals, and plenty of guitar heroics. The arrangement, while predictable, is effective in building tension and release. It's the kind of track that makes you want to charge into battle, which, of course, points to its clear usability in gaming and action-oriented media.

From a production standpoint, there's room for refinement. While the energy is certainly there, the mix feels a bit cluttered at times, particularly in the lower mids. The drums, while powerful, could benefit from a bit more punch and clarity to really cut through the dense guitars. The vocals, while competently performed, sometimes get lost in the instrumental mix. A touch more separation and dynamic range would elevate the track to a higher level.

Emotionally, the song delivers exactly what it promises: a sense of epic scale, heroism, and relentless forward momentum. It's not subtle, but it doesn't need to be. This is music designed to get the blood pumping, and in that regard, it succeeds admirably. In terms of media suitability, it is perfectly tailored for fantasy video games, action sequences, or any project requiring a soundtrack of grand, sweeping proportions. A slightly cleaner mix would expand usability to trailers or commercials with a more energetic and epic vibe.

Compared to industry-level production music, I think "Die Gilde [Metal Edit]" has some way to go in terms of mixing and mastering. The core idea and structure are good, but it needs a bit more polish. Overall, it's a solid effort with great potential and a very clear target audience.
