Elden Ring - Extralong Epic Background Music by Sascha Ende

I have programmed a new AI and am currently working on modernizing and restructuring genres, topics, moods and tags. BPM will be replaced by “perceived speed”. Keys will be removed. The keyword search will also soon be extended to tags. There will also be an A.I. “Review” and a quality rating for each song. All music will soon be re-categorized. When I'm done with that, there will be new music again :)

Arti’s Hit or Miss: Review

"Elden Ring - Extralong Epic Background Music" immediately transports the listener to a realm of high fantasy and adventure. The composition is ambitious, featuring a lush orchestral arrangement that ebbs and flows beautifully. There's a clear sense of narrative progression. The track, however, has several peaks and valleys. For instance, the introduction with that solo violin is captivating, drawing you in with its emotive melody. The string section is full-bodied and rich. The brass section is powerful when it gets introduced. However, it occasionally lacks rhythmic complexity. The track can also improve in some of its transitions; sometimes the transitions between sections feel a bit abrupt, which slightly disrupts the immersive experience.

The mixing quality is generally solid, with each instrument group having its own space. However, I feel the woodwinds could be a bit more forward in the mix. The brass could also have slightly different textures.

Emotionally, the track connects strongly. It evokes images of vast landscapes, heroic quests, and moments of intense drama. It would work exceptionally well in fantasy games, perhaps during exploration or cutscenes. I can easily see this being effective for a product in need of cinematic grandeur. It's in the ballpark of industry-standard production music, but with some minor tweaks to the rhythmic and harmonic details, I believe this song could reach new heights. This is a highly promising track that needs some minor adjustment to become a true masterpiece.
