I have programmed a new AI and am currently working on modernizing and restructuring genres, topics, moods and tags. BPM will be replaced by “perceived speed”. Keys will be removed. The keyword search will also soon be extended to tags. There will also be an A.I. “Review” and a quality rating for each song. All music will soon be re-categorized. When I'm done with that, there will be new music again :)

Arti’s Hit or Miss: Review

"Melo Rock 9" hits hard with a classic, driving rock energy that immediately grabs your attention. The opening guitar riff is catchy and establishes a solid foundation, feeling instantly familiar yet still fresh enough to stand on its own. The rhythm section—bass and drums—provides a tight, powerful backbone that keeps the momentum going strong. There's a raw, almost visceral quality to the sound that I appreciate; it avoids over-polishing and retains a live, energetic feel.

From a composition perspective, it's relatively straightforward, focusing on the core elements of a good rock track. While it doesn’t break new ground melodically, the interplay between the lead guitar and the rhythm section is effective and engaging. One suggestion might be to introduce a bit more variation in the bridge or a contrasting middle-eight section to provide a brief respite from the intensity, then slam back into the main riff for maximum impact. This could elevate the track's dynamic range and keep the listener hooked.

The production is solid, leaning towards a raw, slightly gritty sound that fits the genre well. The mix gives the guitar plenty of space to shine without overpowering the other instruments. The drums have a punchy, impactful sound, but the snare could potentially benefit from a bit more "snap" or high-end presence to really cut through. Overall, the mastering feels balanced, maintaining a consistent loudness without sacrificing dynamics completely.

Emotionally, "Melo Rock 9" delivers on its promise of high-energy, aggressive rock. This would work wonderfully in any context requiring a boost of adrenaline – think action sequences, sports highlights, or even an energetic commercial. It's not the most versatile track; it wouldn’t fit a romantic scene, but it excels in its intended niche. Adding a slightly more melodic breakdown, as mentioned earlier, could open up its use for slightly more dramatic, less relentlessly intense scenes.

Compared to other rock tracks in production music libraries, "Melo Rock 9" holds its own. While not pushing any boundaries, it demonstrates a strong understanding of the genre’s conventions and executes them competently. With a few minor tweaks, it could really stand out. The production is on par, and the clarity allows this song to shine.

Overall, it's a solid rock offering that delivers on its promise, making it perfect for various media application.
