I have programmed a new AI and am currently working on modernizing and restructuring genres, topics, moods and tags. BPM will be replaced by “perceived speed”. Keys will be removed. The keyword search will also soon be extended to tags. There will also be an A.I. “Review” and a quality rating for each song. All music will soon be re-categorized. When I'm done with that, there will be new music again :)

Arti’s Hit or Miss: Review

"Seasons Change" opens with a distinctly lo-fi aesthetic, immediately establishing a relaxed and nostalgic vibe. The sampled, pitched-up vocal snippets, create a playful, almost whimsical introduction which is then is contrasted against a raw, and human, male lead vocal line. The composition is straightforward but effective. The groove is steady and maintains interest, though the harmonic structure is quite simple, relying more on the interplay of rhythmic elements.

The production quality is intentionally rough around the edges to achieve that lo-fi charm, with the sample crackle adding to the intended sonic impact. However, the overall mix feels a bit unbalanced. The drums feel a bit lost, and the vocal samples, although charming at times, feel a little overpowering in places.

Emotionally, the track evokes a carefree, almost nostalgic feeling, like a sunny afternoon spent browsing old records. It might be suitable for vlogs, casual gaming, or even quirky advertising. It’s not a high-impact, dramatic piece, but its niche charm could work well in specific contexts.

Compared to some high-end lo-fi tracks, "Seasons Change" has a raw, almost demo-like quality. This could be an artistic choice, but refining the mix and perhaps adding a touch more harmonic variety could elevate it. It would be interesting to hear a more polished master, giving better clarity. But, having said this, it’s not necessarily a bad thing—this raw quality is exactly the sound that some editors and content creators will look for.

Overall, the track shows promise with its unique personality. It’s a solid effort in the lo-fi genre, and with a little refinement, it could become even more versatile.
