I'm sick and tired! I'm so done with people stealing my music, pretending it's theirs, and then I get messages from creators asking why they are getting Content ID claims — on MY music! This system is broken.

And again... and again .... and again....

New case: An individual named "Ranaso" has unlawfully used my original music, presenting it as his own work. Special thanks to "Deejay" from India for informing me about this via my guestbook. Furthermore, Ranaso is actively targeting other creators on YouTube by filing copyright claims against videos that legitimately use my royalty-free tracks.

From his youtube profile: "Ranaso is a talented singer, songwriter, and model hailing from Kenya. With a diverse background and a captivating presence, Ranaso has made a name for himself in the music industry."

So according to his profile, he's a 'talented artist' — funny, considering the songs he's 'known for' were written and produced by someone else: me.

This behavior is not only unethical but directly harms creators who use my work in good faith. I have contacted YouTube, Spotify, and Apple regarding three confirmed cases of copyright infringement - this takes me HOURS of work. I sincerely hope that his YouTube channel will be removed and that there will be consequences for his actions. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest of his content is stolen as well.

I intentionally do not register my music in YouTube's Content ID system or similar services, so that everyone can freely use it without restriction. Actions like these create unnecessary work and stress for me and others, driven purely by selfishness and a lack of respect for the creative community.

Shame on you, Ranaso. F*** you!

For that reason, I've actually lost the drive to release new music at the moment. I don’t feel like creating free music just so others can claim credit and make money off it. Maybe the inspiration will come back someday.
